The stabilizer is designed to power the complex of on-board devices: receiver, servomechanisms, etc. from a power running battery consisting of 6...8 NiCd (NiMh) cells or 2 Li-Ion (Li-Pol, A123) cells. Current 3A WEIGHT provides when powered by 2 LiFe. When using more elements, the operating current will be significantly less.

To keep the device working in extreme conditions, there are no current and temperature limiters in it, and therefore it is necessary to carefully isolate the elements of on-board equipment to avoid short circuits, and install the stabilizer itself in conditions that provide air circulation.
It is desirable to provide forced blowing of the device (for example, by installing it in the blowing zone with an air jet from a propeller). The stabilizer has an ultra-low voltage drop across the junction (0.2 V) and remains operational when the input voltage drops below 5.8 V.

The surge current value can exceed 10A, which allows you to use 5-6 standard servos or 3-4 digital ones.
The WEIGHT design allows 3W of thermal power to be dissipated in still air conditions.

WARNING!
When storing the model, the stabilizer (as well as other consumers) must be disconnected from the running battery in order to avoid its discharge and failure.

Lithium-polymer batteries are a source of increased danger and require constant monitoring of modes and voltage levels during charging and discharging.
