The reverse speed controller is intended for installation on micro cars and ship models with class 130, 180 engines, for controlling gear motors of miniature robots, as well as for powering pump drives, locators, thrusters, etc. on copy models.< br>
When installed on the model, the regulator is controlled from the corresponding channel of the remote control equipment. The regulator is powered by the same servo cable from the power bus of the receiver from the on-board battery or external VEC. When selecting the VEC, the current drawn by the load of the regulator should be taken into account, and also keep in mind that, unlike servos, this current can be drawn continuously.
Since the regulator is designed for the entire power range of modern receivers and various types of batteries, it does not contain a voltage cutoff.
The regulator is made on an imported element base using SMD technology using the most modern MOSFET transistors.
To ensure the normal operation of the electric drive, it is necessary to install spark arresting capacitors on the motor. It is not recommended to use “toy” motors due to the extremely low quality of the brush-collector group.
In order to avoid failure of the regulator, it is not recommended to make a sharp reversal of the engine (shifting the throttle stick from one extreme position to another). When reversing, it is recommended to hold the throttle stick in neutral for 1...2 seconds.
After starting the model, the regulator must be disconnected from the battery. Do not allow dust or water to enter the regulator.
