The KLSW-5 electronic opto-switch is designed to turn on/off on-board devices that generate electromagnetic interference (electric motors with increased sparking, electronic ignition systems).

The device is controlled via a separate channel, the signal part is powered by the receiver, the power part is powered by an external source. The power part is separated from the signal part by means of an optocoupler.
The device contains elements for setting and indicating the on state.

The electronic OPTO-switch (KillSwitch) is designed to discretely turn on various devices on board the model, the operation of which is associated with the generation of interference that affects the operation of the communication channel (electric motors with increased brush sparking, spark ignition systems for internal combustion engines, etc.).
This device is switched on via a free channel of the control panel.
The device should be connected in accordance with the figure and strictly observing the color marking of the wires (red - plus, black - minus).
A three-color wire with a chip is connected to the corresponding channel of the receiver. The setup board with the setup button and LED indicator should be placed in an easily accessible place by fixing it with a screw or self-tapping screw using the mounting hole provided in it.
Checking the performance and setting up the device should be done before connecting the external power battery and load. This possibility is provided due to the fact that the entire signal part of the circuit, including the tuning board, is powered directly from the receiver.

PROGRAMMING
Initial settings of the block: switching point - 1.5 ms, working sector 1.5-2.0 ms, non-working sector 1.0-1.5 ms. The block is programmed by a button located on the configuration board along with an LED indicator. To change the working sector (reverse), you should press the programming button before turning on the power of the receiver, then, while holding it, apply power to the receiver. After the indicator starts blinking, the working sector is reversed. After that, the setting button should be released. To change the switch-on point of the module, with the control panel, receiver and unit turned on, set the desired position of the handle on the control panel, then press and hold the programming button. After the indicator starts flashing, the new switching point position is programmed. After that, the settings button should be released.

OPERATION
It is possible to connect two or more similar devices in parallel to one receiver channel with individual settings for each of them.
During operation, you should carefully observe the polarity of connecting the device to the load and external battery.
Avoid getting water, dust and fuel on the boards of the device. When mounted on board a model, care should be taken to protect the unit from vibration and shock.
The load supply voltage range must be observed. Due to the fact that the power transistor is controlled from the load power source, its normal operation is possible only in the specified supply voltage range - 4.8 ~ 15.0 V.
